Peddapalli: A puncture shop owner, Mukesh Kumar, was murdered by unidentified persons in Raghavapur of Peddapalli mandal late on Wednesday night.
A native of Mahuwa district of Bihar state, Mukesh Kumar runs a puncture shop in Raghavapur.
According to Chandan Kumar who works in the shop, a lorry driver who came to the shop to fill air in tires on Wednesday night entered into an argument with the deceased and left the spot.
After some time, four unidentified persons came to the shop in a car and threw chilli powder in Mukesh Kumar’s eye before smashing his head with a stone.
On getting information about the murder, Peddapalli CI Pradeep Kumar and Basanthnagar SI Mahender visited the spot and began investigations.
The body was shifted to Peddapalli hospital for postmortem.
