Medak: A youngster was bludgeoned to death by unidentified persons and set on fire on the premises of the primary health centre (PHC) at Chinna Shankarampet in the early hours of Thursday.

When the hospital staff led by health officer Sai Sindhu came to open the PHC, they found the charred body in the corridors of the centre. The petrified staff informed the police.


The clues team collected samples and sent them to the lab. However, the police have not identified the youngster so far. They suspected him to be a migrant labourer from Bihar.

Toopran DSP Venkat Reddy and Inspector Venkatraja Goud examined the crime scene. Further investigation is underway. The body was sent for postmortem.
