Man murdered over extramarital affair in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Asifnagar police investigating the murder of Mohd Ejaz suspect an extramarital affair led to the killing. They believe he was murdered by the husband of the woman with whom he was allegedly having an extramarital affair.
The suspect Syed Sajad (25), who works for a courier service, lived with his wife Shahnaz Begum at Warasiguda in Secunderabad. According to the police, Ejaz, an auto-rickshaw driver, was having an extramarital affair with Shahnaz for over a year and Sajad, who recently learnt about it, had warned Ejaz to keep away.
“However, Ejaz continued the relationship, which angered Sajad,” police said, adding that Sajad armed with a knife, went to Ejaz’s house at Sai Nagar in Gudimalkapur, picked up an argument and stabbed him to death. The Asifnagar police have taken Sajad into custody.
