Man murdered over financial dispute in Hyderabad

A youth, Mukesh Kumar Jha, was allegedly murdered by his roommate Khan in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, Tuesday night after a dispute over money. Khan reportedly stabbed Mukesh in the chest, killing him instantly. Police registered a case and launched investigation

Hyderabad: A youth was allegedly murdered by his room mate following a dispute over money in Kukatpally on Tuesday night. The incident took place at Rajiv Gandhi Nagar under the limits of Kukatpally Police Station.

According to police, the victim, identified as Mukesh Kumar Jha, was sharing a room with Khan and both were employed at a private company.


An argument reportedly broke out between the two over financial transactions. During the quarrel, Khan allegedly attacked Mukesh with a knife and stabbed him in the chest. Mukesh suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.

The Kukatpally Police registered a case and are investigating.
