Siddipet: A man opened fire at his rival between Japthilingareddy Pally and Venkatraopet villages in Thogutam Mandal of Siddipet district on Wednesday afternoon.
According to locals, Oggu Tirupathi and Vamshi Krishna of Chellapur had a land dispute. Following an argument over the same dispute, the accomplices of Oggu Tirupathi reportedly fire one shot at Vamshi Krishna. However, Vamshi Krishna escaped unhurt as it misfired.
Earlier, Vamshi Krishna reportedly attacked Tirupathi with a knife a few days ago.
Siddipet Police led by Commissioner of Police N Swetha has reached the Place and they were examining the crime scene.
