Man out to meet friends on birthday dies in mishap at Malakpet
Mahesh cut a cake with his family after midnight and headed out to meet his friends when his scooter skidded and hit an electric pole
Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a 24-year-old man who went out to meet his friends on his birthday, died in a road accident at Malakpet on Tuesday late night.
Mahesh Kumar, (24) a vegetable vendor from Saidabad, celebrated his birthday with his family members a little after midnight. After cutting the cake, Mahesh got a phone call from a friend.
To meet his friends Mahesh started on his scooter towards Nalgonda crossroads from his residence.
“On the way near Officer’s Mess function hall, the vehicle skidded at high speed and hit an electric pole. Mahesh sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” Dabeerpura Inspector D Nanu Naik said.
The police said that Mahesh was riding the scooter at a high speed and lost control resulting in the mishap.
