Man posing as Revenue employee caught at Telangana Secretariat; Probe underway

Special Police Force Intelligence ASI Yusuf and Head Constable Anjaneyulu gathered substantial evidence and skillfully apprehended him. Bhaskar Rao, a resident of Khammam, was found roaming within the premises while posing as a junior assistant in the Revenue Department with a fake ID card.

Hyderabad: A man who posed as an employee of Revenue Department and moved suspiciously in the Telangana Secretariat was caught by the police on Thursday.

Special Police Force Intelligence ASI Yusuf and Head Constable Anjaneyulu collected complete evidence and cleverly caught him.


The man Bhaskar Rao from Khammam, was moving in the premises wearing a fake ID card as an employee, junior assistant in the Revenue Department.

It is learnt that Minority Department Section Officer V. Prashanth’s driver Ravi had helped Bhaskar Rao in getting the fake ID card.

SPF Intelligence has detained driver Ravi.

The Saifabad police are interrogating driver Ravi and Bhaskar Rao.

They are interrogating if the duo had cheated anyone financially by showing a fake ID. Is there anyone else involved in the secretariat..? Who helped them? Are there any victims of them..?

Police are investigating from the perspective of allegations that a large amount of money was taken from many people by mentioning the names of key ministers in the Secretariat and promising to get work done, clear files, and provide jobs.
