Man slits wife’s throat after domestic dispute in Hanamkonda
A domestic dispute in Hanamkonda’s Atmakur turned violent when a man allegedly attacked his wife, leaving her with critical injuries, including a slit throat. Locals rushed her to hospital, while police began investigating the case.
Hanamkonda: A man has allegedly stabbed his wife at Atmakur on Friday, causing her multiple bleeding injuries.
It was said that there have been domestic disputes between Manda Ravi and his wife Anusha for the past few days. The disputes escalated into a violent attack in which the accused slit his wife’s throat, besides causing knife injuries on other parts of her body.
Locals who found Anusha with serious injuries immediately rushed her to the hospital. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the incident. Anusha’s condition was said to be critical.
During a recent panchayat held in the presence of the elders the couple agreed to solve their disputes and live together. The woman works as an attendant at a Gurukul school in the district. The accused was absconding.
