Sangareddy: In a shocking incident, a man smashed his 18-day-old son to the floor, leading to the instant death of the infant at Vasavi Nagar in Jogipet town on Saturday. The accused Krishna had some differences with his wife Gouri over some petty issues. Krishna picked up an argument with his wife on Saturday morning.
In a fit of rage, the man held the infant by his legs and smashed him to the floor. Shocked over the incident, the mother rushed the infant to the government hospital in Sangareddy with the help of neighbours. However, the doctors declared the baby dead. The police registered a case and the man was taken into custody.
