Hyderabad: A man was stabbed, allegedly by his brother, after an argument in their house in SR Nagar on Thursday.
According to the police, Mohd Farooq and his younger brother Mohd Gilani, both daily wage labourers, were residing with their family at Borabanda. They had frequent arguments and on Thursday night too, they quarreled after which Gilani stabbed Farooq with a knife and fled the spot.
The SR Nagar police shifted Farooq to the Osmania General Hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.
A case of attempt to murder was booked and is being investigated while Gilani was taken into custody.
