Man stabbed to death at hostel in Gachibowli, Hyderabad

A man was allegedly stabbed to death at a private men’s hostel in Gachibowli’s Anjaiah Nagar on Thursday night. Police said the victim, a hostel cook, was attacked with a kitchen knife by a co-worker. The motive is under investigation

Hyderabad: A man was allegedly stabbed to death at a private men’s hostel in Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli, on Thursday night.

According to the police, Shashidhar, who worked as a cook at Harihara Men’s Hostel, was allegedly attacked with a kitchen knife by Pramod, who also worked at the same hostel.

On receiving the information, Raidurgam police reached the spot and shifted the victim’s body to Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy.

The case is under investigation, with police trying to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
