Man stabbed to death in a brawl at bar in Hyderabad’s Uppal

Shravan Kumar and Hari Krishna got into a fight over some issue. Pavan Kumar, who was watching them, intervened in a bid to stop the fight. Shravan got angry and stabbed Pavan with a beer bottle

Hyderabad: A man was killed in a brawl at a bar in Uppal on Sunday night. The victim Pavan Kumar alias Kalyan, (24), a resident of Amberpet on Sunday night along with his friend Rishikesh went to ‘Good Day’, a bar located at Uppal.

While they were consuming liquor, two persons Shravan Kumar and Hari Krishna had a quarrel over some issue. In a fit of rage, Shravan Kumar attacked Hari Krishna with a liquor bottle.

“Pavan who was watching the fight suddenly stood up and intervened between Shravan Kumar and Hari Krishna in a bid to stop the fight. However, Shravan Kumar got angry and stabbed Pavan with a beer bottle leading to serious injuries. He subsequently died,” said the Uppal police.

The police registered a case against Shravan Kumar and also the management of the bar for failing to prevent violence in the bar that resulted in the murder of Pavan.
