Sangareddy: A man allegedly attacked a couple with a sharp weapon at their residence in Narayankhed town in Sangareddy district on Tuesday evening.
The victims were identified as Anitha and her husband Veresham. The accused, identified as Brahama Chary, picked up an argument with Veresham over a petty issue and attacked him with a knife. When Anitha tried to save her husband, Chary stabbed the woman too with the knife. The couple were shifted to Area Hospital Narayankhed. Their condition is stated to be stable. Chary, however, fled from the scene. Narayankhed police, who registered a case, launched a hunt to nab him.
