Hyderabad: A drunken altercation between two friends, reportedly from Nepal, left one person seriously injured near a wine shop in Kukatpally on Thursday night.
Police said the duo allegedly attacked each other while under the influence of alcohol at the wine shop located near Metro Pillar No. 795.
During the scuffle, a man identified as Rabbi (30) suffered a severe eye injury after being struck with a liquor bottle.
Local residents informed the police and ambulance service. He was taken for emergency treatment and shifted to Gandhi Hospital for further treatment.
Kukatpally police are investigating.
