Mahabubnagar: Hoping to see BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao return as Chief Minister, Chinna Narasimha, a resident of Gurakonda village, has embarked on a padayatra to the Erravalli farmhouse.
Last week, Kavali Ramchander from Ankella village undertook a similar padayatra. Narasimha has now set out on foot towards the Erravalli farmhouse with the same aspiration.
Narasimha also wants Ala Venkateswar Reddy to be re-elected as Devarakadra MLA. His padayatra reached Jadcherla on Tuesday. He is expected to reach the Erravalli farmhouse in another four to five days.
Narasimha said he had undertaken the journey in the hope that Telangana could develop only under K Chandrashekhar Rao’s leadership. He also wants to bring several issues affecting farmers to the BRS chief’s attention. These include shortages of irrigation water, electricity and urea.
