Mancherial Anganwadi teacher terminated for irregularities

Mancherial District Collector Kumar Deepak has dismissed Anganwadi teacher Sarojana of Nakkalapalli-I for alleged irregularities and dereliction of duty. An inquiry found errors in beneficiary records and allegations of diversion of eggs, milk and nutrient supplements meant for beneficiaries.

Mancherial: District Collector Kumar Deepak has dismissed an Anganwadi teacher for committing irregularities and showing dereliction of duty at Nakkalapalli village on Friday. As per the order, teacher Sarojana of Nakkalapalli-I was terminated from service for showing negligence in discharging her duties. She was found to have erroneously entered details of women and parents of beneficiaries. She was also alleged to have diverted eggs, milk and nutrient supplements meant for children and pregnant women. An inquiry was conducted into the allegations levelled against the teacher in the presence of villagers. Based on the findings of the inquiry, action has been initiated against her.
