Mancherial: A blood donation camp was organised by Members of Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers’ (TNGO) Association’s Mancherial district chapter for patients of thalassemia and sickle cell diseases here on Friday. Bellampalli Revenue Divisional Officer Shyamala Devi was the chief guest of the event.
Shyamala lauded the members of the TNGOs for conducting the camp and for coming to the rescue of the patients with blood disorders. Indian Red Cross Society Mancherial district chairman K Bhaskar Reddy said that 80 units of blood were raised with the help of the camp and it would be given to the patients for free.
TNGOs Mancherial district president G Srihari, Secretary of the chapter Bhumula Rammohan, associate president Sripath Bapu Rao, joint secretaries Sridhar, Hanumanth Reddy and Sunitha and treasurer Satyanarayana, forest department’s forum state president Ponna Mallaiah, organising secretary Shravan, Mancherial unit president Chandrasekhar Reddy and secretary Prabhu Lingam and many others were present.
