Mancherial boy shines in state-level badminton tournament held at Maharashtra’s Nanded
Arjun Reddy Aluguvelli won the state-level Under-19 badminton singles title in Nanded, Maharashtra, defeating Mumbai’s Aryan Talwar. He will now compete in a zonal tournament in September. The young athlete was felicitated by family and supporters at his hometown.

Mancherial: Arjun Reddy Aluguvelli, a boy hailing from the town shined in a state-level Under-19 (Singles) badminton tournament held at Nanded in Maharashtra from July 14 to 18.
Coach Baskar Raju from Hyderabad said that Arjun Reddy won the tournament and was selected for participating in a zonal level competition to be held in September. He defeated his opponent Aryan Talwar of Mumbai by scoring 21-6 and 21-16. He was congratulated by Nanded SP Abinash Kumar.
Arjun Reddy was congratulated by his grandparents Thirupathi Reddy and Hemaltha, family members and friends at Hi-Tech City Colony in the town for excelling in the state-level competition and bringing recognition to the district.
