Mancherial: Canara Bank offers scholarship to meritorious students

Mancherial: The authorities of Canara Bank, formerly known as Syndicate Bank, extended scholarship of Rs 5,000 each to three Class X students and Rs 2,500 each to three students, studying Grade V, for faring well in academics, to mark the 115th foundation day of the financial institution here on Thursday.

Manager of the bank G Tirupati said that the institution credited monetary aid with the savings account of the six meritorious pupils in connection with the foundation day.


He stated that the bank was organising a slew of community outreach programmes as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy. Lead Bank Manager Haveli Raju and Assistant Manager Mahender were present.
