Mancherial collector says constables are foundation of police system
Speaking on the occassion, Deepak said that policemen were fortunate to directly serve the public when compared to other employees of any other department. People could live happily only if the law and order of the society was under control

Mancherial: As many as 548 Trainee constables took part in a passing out parade held on the premises of Telangana State Special Police’s (TSSP) 13th Battalion at Gudipet village in Hajipur mandal on Friday. Collector Kumar Deepak was the chief guest of the event which was conducted to mark the completion of nine-month long training of the constables.
Speaking on the occassion, Deepak said that policemen were fortunate to directly serve the public when compared to other employees of any other department. People could live happily only if the law and order of the society was under control. Police play a vital role in eliminating anti-social elements, terrorists. Constables were the foundation to the police system.
Commandant of the battalion P Venkat Ramulu said that the constables underwent rigorous training and were ready to discharge duties. He stated that some of the constables were software employees and teachers before entering the police department. He along with the Collector presented medals to top performers of various subjects of the training.
Among the constables, 270 were graduates, while 41 were post-graduates. A total of 70 were engineers, three were M Tech holders. As many as 32 pursued either MCA or MBA, while seven graduated in pharmacy.
Additional Collector S Mothilal, DCP A Bhaskar, Additional DCP C Raju, Assistant commandants R Nageshwar Rao, and T Kalidas, medical officer Dr Santosh Singh, Administrative Officer Umesh Kumar and others were present.
