Mancherial cops hold medical camp, distribute blankets to elderly

Mancherial: Mancherial police organised a mega health camp at Vemanapalli mandal centre on Sunday. Ramagundam Commissionerate’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Sharath Chandra Pawar was the chief guest of the event.
About 2,000 residents of Vemanapalli mandal headquarters and surrounding habitations visited the camp and availed various medical services. They were given medicine for free of cost. They were fed and provided with a transportation facility. They thanked the police for conducting the camp for their convenience.
Sports kits were distributed to youngsters of tribal habitations. As many as 200 blankets were given to tribal elderly people.
Sharath Chandra requested the citizens not to co-operate to outlawed ned Maoist party. He urged them to report about the movement of strangers. He wanted them to practice physical distance and to wear face masks in the wake of the spread of Omicron, a variant of Covid-19. He appreciated Vemanapalli police for organizing the medical camp.
Jaipur ACP Narender, Chennur Rural Inspector K Nagaraju, Chennur Town Inspector Praveen, Srirampur Inspector Raju and many other police officials were present.
