Mancherial: Dr Sudhati Sana, the correspondent of Abhyasa Centre of Excellence, a Mancherial-based private school, has received Vidya Bhushan Award-2021 by Mahatma Gandhi Akash International for rendering outstanding services to the field of education. She received the award on Tuesday.
Sudhati is the only correspondent from north Telangana to have been chosen for the award. She was among the 152 eminent persons who were selected for the honour. The awards are presented to the recipients on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary celebrated in Gujarat on October 2. Due to Covid-19, the award was sent to Sudhati. She was congratulated by the teachers and students.
The correspondent had bagged the best educator award by Syrafills Media for adopting innovative teaching methods in 2019. She received the award and a certificate of appreciation from Latha Rajanikanth, wife of Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth, during the 5th edition of the South Indian Women Achievers Award (SIWAA) held in Chennai.
