Mancherial social activist appointed IWBR state coordinator
Mancherial: Mancherial-based social activist Madupu Ram Prakash was felicitated by members of Vishwabrahmana community on being appointed as Telangana State coordinator for Internal Wonder Book of Records (IWBR) on Wednesday. India Chief Coordinator of the publication Bingi Narender Goud issued an order to this effect on Saturday.
The community association’s state secretary Peddapalli Purshottam said Ram Prakash ventured into social service after renouncing his wealth and business. He appreciated the activist for selflessly serving the needy. He congratulated Ram Prakash on being appointed as the state coordinator of the global records publication and bringing recognition to the community and district.
Honorary advisor of the association Kotturi Rajaiah, former president Saddanapu Ramchandar, district treasurer Jamboju Tirupati, vice presidents Chintala Mallesham, and Akkinapalli Madhu, members Sriramoju Ramesh, Ravula Harish, Modumpuram Venkateshwarlu and many others were present.
Ram Prakash, who established Velugu Foundation, passionately strives for raising the literacy rate in the district, besides feeding the poor and organising a slew of social activities and charity programmes in different parts of Mancherial. He serves the needy with the help of donations from philanthropists and donors.
