Mancherial student represents State volleyball team in national event

Sai Deekshith of Carmel Convent High School-Mancherial represented the state at a national-level sub-junior event in West Bengal. Three other students won medals at the Chief Minister’s Cup Athletic Meet in Warangal and were felicitated by the school management.

Mancherial: Sai Deekshith, a class student from Carmel Convent High School-Mancherial, was part of a state team that participated in a national-level sub-junior event held in West Bengal from February 25 to March 1. He was felicitated by the management of the school here on Wednesday.

Principal of the school, Sister Saroopya, and Vice Principal Seema congratulated Deekshith on representing the state team and were all praise for him for taking part in the national event. Meanwhile, three students from the same school, Shrushti Yogyatha, Srinidhi and B Shruthi, shone at the Chief Minister’s Cup Athletic Meet held in Warangal recently. While Shrushti won a bronze medal in the javelin throw competition, Srinidhi bagged a silver medal in the triathlon event. Shruthi won gold and silver medals in the 100 metres and 400 metres sprint events. They were also congratulated by the management of the school.
