Mancherial student selected for south zone athletic meet in Puducherry

Carmel Convent High School student Srinidhi from Mancherial has been selected for the south zone athletic meet in Puducherry from September 15 to 16. She earned selection after excelling in a State-level competition held in Hanamkonda.

Mancherial: A student from Carmel Convent High School (CCHS) has been selected to participate in a south zone athletic meet to be held in Puducherry from September 15 to 16.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, CCHS principal Sister Saroopya said that Srinidhi was selected to take part in the south India-level athletic meet after excelling in a State-level competition conducted in Hanamkonda between August 26 and 27. She congratulated the student on being selected to participate in a major event.

Meanwhile, Bonala Sruthi, an alumna of the school, would represent Telangana State in the event in the 400-metre and 4×100-metre relay sprinting competitions.
