Mancherial student wins first prize in essay writing
Shailaja excelled in the essay writing competition, while two other students Sunitha and Vijay bagged the second and third prizes respectively.
Mancherial: D Shailaja, studying BA second year at the government degree college-Luxettipet won the first prize in a district-level essay writing competition held by Telangana Satya Sai Seva Samstha, a voluntary organisation. She received the prize at a programme conducted on the premises of the college on Thursday.
Principal of the college Dr Mahatma Santosh said that Shailaja excelled in the essay writing competition, while two other students Sunitha and Vijay bagged the second and third prizes respectively. He congratulated the winners and told other students to draw inspiration from them. He praised their teachers for motivating the students to participate in the competition.
The college’s cultural coordinator Dr T Suresh, Satya Sai Seva Samstha zonal coordinator Ravinder, MEO Helen Arathi and others were present.
