Mancherial: Uppaleti Srinivas, a physical science teacher from Nennal Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) has been selected for the Global Teacher Award-2021 for his exceptional contributions in the field of science. He will receive the award in a virtual ceremony on October 10.
The award is instituted by Alert Knowledge Services and AKS Innovative Training Technology Educational Management and Research Organisation in association with Worldwide Private Limited.
As many as two lakh nominations were received for the award. Members of the jury chose 500 teachers and principals working in both public and private educational institutions across the world based on their skills and commitment towards profession, role in development of their schools, innovative teaching methods, basic amenities, creativity, among other factors.
Srinivas was congratulated by Mandal Educational Officer Maheshwar Reddy, headmaster of the school K Narayana and teachers Padma, Babji, Gopal, Chinnaiah, Rajitha, Sathyanarayana, Ramesh, Venkateshwarlu, Ramu, Bharati, Sri Ram, Sujatha, Surdharshan, Harikrishna and non-teaching staffers on being selected for the global award.
