Mancherial: Three students of govt-run residential college qualify in JEE Advanced

Mancherial: Three students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Centre of Excellence (TSWR CoE)-Bellampalli qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced of which results were declared on Friday.

TSWR CoE-Bellampalli Principal Inala Saidulu said Jangam Namdev, Kamera Rajaramesh and Durgam Ranjith were qualified for pursuing engineering in premiere institutions of the country. Congratulating achievers, he suggested other students to draw inspiration from the three and excel in academics. Saidulu said allocation of seats would be held in two phases from October 27 to November 9.


He attributed the success of the students to sustained efforts of teachers of the institution. Two students of this institution had qualified in the JEE Advanced in 2020, he recalled.

While Namdev hails from Salugupalli village in Bejjur mandal of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district, Raja Ramesh is a resident of Beernandi village in Kaddam mandal of Nirmal district and Ranjith is a native of Algam village in Kotapalli mandal of Mancherial district. Ranjith said that he would like to establish a software company and to create jobs for the unemployed in future.

In the meantime, 18 other students got seats in National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT), and some engineering national level engineering institutions.

TSWR Adilabad Regional Coordinating Officer (RCO) Koppula Swarupa Rani, Saidulu, teachers Mitta Ramesh, Gajula Rajender, Akenapalli Rajesh and Chanda Laxminarayana and non-teaching staff for cracking JEE Advanced and for getting opportunity to pursue engineering at the reputed institution of the country.

On October 8, three students from TSWR CoE-Bellampalli got seats at prestigious Delhi University for the first time in the history of the centre. They were Jangam Namdev, Mesala Raja Sagar and Gudi Sushindar Reddy.
