Mancherial: Two women farmers injured as lightning strikes cotton field

Two women farmers were injured after lightning struck them while they were working in a cotton field in Ghanpur village, Nennal mandal, on Wednesday. Both were admitted to a hospital in Mancherial.

Mancherial: Two women farmers sustained injuries after being struck by lightning when they were working in a cotton field at Ghanpur village in Nennal mandal on Wednesday.

Locals said that while Kummarikunta Saritha suffered serious injuries, Angali Srilatha sustained minor injuries in the incident. Both were shifted to a hospital in Mancherial. The condition of Saritha was reported to be critical. The women were removing weeds in one of their farms, when lightning struck them.
