Hyderabad: Movie Artistes Association (MAA) president Manchu Vishnu has said that he has no objection over Prakash Raj seeking the review of CCTV footage from the polling day. It may be recalled that Prakash Raj along with his panel members alleged that votes had been rigged by the opposition members on the polling day of October 10.

Prakash Raj later wrote a letter to election officer Krishna Mohan seeking the CCTV footage of polling day. However, the election officer refused to provide the footage to Prakash. Subsequently, the actor approached the Jubilee Hills police and they locked up the CCTV server room.

Manchu Vishnu on Monday visited Tirumala along with his panel members to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Later, he, along with comedian-character artiste Babu Mohan, spoke to the media. Babu Mohan, who unsuccessfully contested MAA election for the post of executive vice-president, said Vishnu would continue to serve as the president for every member in the movie association. “If denied, people of Telugu States won’t forgive Prakash Raj. Vishnu will win as MAA president for next term also. The person (Prakash Raj) who criticised Vishnu had done his high school but Vishnu is a CEO of an educational institution,” he added.
