Manne Krishank dares Revanth Reddy to order CBI probe into allegations against family
BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank challenged Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to order a CBI probe into allegations involving family-linked companies and institutions. Krishank offered documentary evidence and reiterated claims of wealth accumulation and irregularities in land transactions
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) spokesperson Manne Krishank on Monday challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to order a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into allegations involving companies and institutions linked to his family, including Maxbien Pharma, MindVault Corporate Schools and Medicover Hospitals. He offered to submit documentary evidence to investigators.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, Krishank said the Chief Minister had initially dismissed media questions about the allegations against his family as “paid questions” and later demanded evidence. He said the BRS had been presenting documentary evidence over the past couple of months, including details of directors and shareholders, but the ruling Congress was yet to respond.
The BRS leader questioned the claim that a hospital had been sold for Rs 13,200 crore and pointed to alleged links between its directors and Maxbien Pharma, as well as the association of the Chief Minister’s daughter with MindVault Corporate Schools. He alleged that Revanth Reddy had failed to answer questions on these matters and was instead encouraging a campaign against BRS leaders.
“If the Chief Minister has nothing to do with these matters and has no role in them, let him order a CBI inquiry. We will submit the documents, including details of directors and shareholders,” Krishank said. He added that a CBI investigation in Telangana required the State government’s consent and challenged Revanth Reddy to facilitate the probe if he was confident of his position.
Krishank accused the Congress government and media outlets supportive of it of targeting former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, BRS working president KT Rama Rao and former minister T Harish Rao. He said the BRS leaders were responding to allegations through public statements and legal channels.
Krishank reiterated his allegation that the Chief Minister’s family had amassed Rs 50,000 crore in two-and-a-half years. He also accused the government of irregularities involving land transactions related to properties listed under Section 22-A as prohibited for registration.
He cited the alleged registration of four acres of assigned land at Chandanavalli in connection with R9 Constructions, which was reportedly owned by Revanth Reddy’s younger brother, Krishna Reddy.
