Hyderabad: In Juniors category of 237th Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament, Mano Tej Ranganamaina (CMR International School, Boyinapally) won the event by scoring six points out of six rounds, while Challa Shaahanth and Gajji Rushikesh got second and third places with five points each out of six rounds, here at Brilliant Grammar High School, Dilsukhnagar.

In the Open category, K Perumallu won the event by scoring 5.5 points out of six rounds, while Aashish Reddy and Sri Samanvith got second and third places with five points each out of six rounds.


Final placings: Open category: 1. K Perumallu, 2. A Aashish Reddy, 3. G Sri Samanvith, 4. M Satyanarayana, 5. V Varshith, 6. Tanisha Khandelwal, 7. D Anish, 8. M Akhil, 9. M Vivek Kumar, 10. Abhinav Yadav.
