MANUU IMC Director selected as member of International Documentary Association
Rizwan is enthusiast and lover of the medium of cinema and has extensively worked for the audio-visual medium
Hyderabad: Rizwan Ahmad, Director, Instructional Media Centre, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, has been selected as the member of prestigious International Documentary Association (IDA) based at Los Angeles, USA.
Founded in 1982, IDA promotes non-fiction filmmakers and strives to increase public awareness for the documentary genre, a press release said. Rizwan is enthusiast and lover of the medium of cinema and has extensively worked for the audio-visual medium. He is also the member of the editorial advisory board of prestigious English quarterly journal “Cultural Dialogue” published by Iran Culture House, New Delhi and also been nominated as the member of the International Council for Film, Television and audio-visual communication (ICFT), UNESCO.
