Hyderabad: A film ‘Nawa-e-Sarosh – Mirza Ghalib’ (Mirza Ghalib – Voice of Angel), of the Instructional Media Centre (IMC), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has bagged the best film award in the Literature category at the International Culture Cinema Festival-2021.
The event was jointly organised by UNESCO, New Delhi, JLF LitFest and CIFEJ. The film, directed by Dr Mir Hashmath Ali was one amongst IMC’s nine other short films and documentaries selected for official screening in competitive categories of festival, the MANUU said on Saturday.
A total of 74 films from 21 countries were being screened of which 42 movies were in the competition, it said, adding that festival commenced on July 17 and online screening will be continued till August 16.
