Maoist couple to surrender before Ramagundam police

Peddapalli: In another blow to Maoist party, a senior naxalite couple is likely to surrender before Ramagundam police.

A senior Maoist leader, Atram Lachanna alias Gopanna, along with his wife Atram Aruna, will surrender before Ramagundam Police Commissioner Ambar Kishore Jha.

While Lachanna is working as a state committee member, Aruna is Bastar division committee secretary.

A native of Parupalli, Chennur of Mancherial district, Lachanna joined the extremist party 30 years ago and worked at different levels.
