Kothagudem: CPI (Maoist) Telangana State Committee spokesperson Jagan demanded the State government to withdraw the GO 317 issued for allotment of government staff to new local cadres.

In a statement released to the media here on Wednesday, he wanted the ongoing process of transfers of employees to be stopped. Vacant posts have to be filled up forthwith on the basis of local status and reservations, he said.

The transfers being made on the basis of seniority and merit list, while undermining local status, would force employees and unemployed to face problems in the future. Because of the unscientific approach in the transfers, the employees were facing mental and financial troubles, Jagan alleged.
