Maoists fire grenades at CRPF camp on Telangana-Chhattisgarh border

According to sources, no casualties reported on either side; police launch intensive combing operation in forests following the attack

Kothagudem: Maoists have reportedly attacked a CRPF camp at Pusuguppa in Cherla mandal in the district on Telangana–Chhattisgarh border.

It was said that Maoists have fired grenades using barrel grenade launchers (BGLs) in a flash attack on the camp late on Wednesday. The security personnel retorted the attack by firing at the Maoists.

No casualties were reported on either side, said sources. Police have launched an intensive combing operation in the forests following the incident.
