Marredpally Playground defeats Crosswings Club 11-2 runs in the final
Hyderabad: Marredpally Playground defeated Crosswings Club 11-2 runs in the final of the second VS Jagannadham Memorial Baseball Championship at Marredpally Ground here.
Special prizes were given to Shanmukha of Smashers Sports Club (most valuable player – boys), Dhanu Pallavi of Smashers Sports Club (most valuable player – girls), Kailash of Marredpally Playground (best batter – boys), Harshitha of Marredpally Playground (best batter- girls), M Neeraj of Smashers Sports Club (best fielder – boys), Yeswata of of Crosswings Club (best fielder – girls), Sahas of Marredpally Playground (most disciplined player – boys), Runidhi of Marredpally Playground (most disciplined player – girls).
Former India baseballer S Venkatesh and L Rajender, secretary of Telangana Baseball Association, gave away the prizes.
The result: Final: Marredpally Playground-11 runs (Karthik, Nitin, Kailash, Aryan-2 runs each, Nishwanth, Srujan, Sagar-1 run each) bt Cross Wings Club-2 runs ( Pranay, K Sathwik-1 run each).
