Marri Rajashekhar Reddy alleges rampant encroachment of government lands

The MLA seeks to know whether HYDRAA does not work in Malkajgiri constituency

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajashekhar Reddy said there was rampant encroachment of government lands in his constituency.

ULC lands under survey 482, 483 at Alwal were encroached and in September 2023, court directions were issued to the District Collector to check the encroachments but there was no respite. A temporary dumping yard was established in Hindu graveyard under survey no 198 and 199. Kargil war hero Lance Nail MY Ramchander’s cemetery was also in the lands and Ramky Group was conducting plastic business on a large scale, he alleged.

Similarly, government lands in survey no 274 at Neredmet were also being encroached and sought to know whether HYDRAA does not work in Malkajgiri constituency.
