Married man dies by suicide in Khammam’s Konijerla

A 30-year-old man, distressed over a family dispute and his wife leaving, allegedly died by suicide at Tanikella village in Konijerla mandal, Khammam district.

Khammam: A married man allegedly died by suicide at Tanikella of Konijerla mandal in the district.

The deceased Peddagoundla Gopal Rao (30) was said to be distressed following a family dispute and his wife leaving for her parents’ home. He hanged himself from the ceiling fan with a saree at his home on Saturday when no one was at home.

Based on a complaint by the deceased man’s mother, Shanthamma, Konijerla police registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
