Marvel announces star cast for new X-Men film
Marvel Studios has announced the cast of its upcoming X-Men film, featuring Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, Christopher Abbott, Samara Weaving, Inde Navarrette and Maya Boyd. Directed by Jake Schreier, the film is scheduled for release in 2028

Los Angeles: Marvel Studios has announced the star cast for the “X-Men” film, which will comprise Sadie Sink, Kit Connor, Christopher Abbott, Samara Weaving, Inde Navarrette and Maya Boyd.
The announcement was made on Friday at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which is held in Anaheim, California, according to the entertainment news outlet Deadline.
Sink, who is set to essay the role of Jean Grey in the film, got on stage during the event and said, “We’re here to talk about the X-Men. Should we meet some more of the cast?”, as other actors joined her on stage.
Connor will essay the role of Scott Summers, with Abbott featuring as Professor Charles Xavier, Weaving as Emma Frost, Navarrette as Rogue, and Boyd as Storm.
The film, which is set to release in 2028, is directed by Jake Schreier, known for “Thunderbolts”, and is produced by Kevin Feige, who said there are several other actors featuring in the film.
Stan Lee and Jack Kirby introduced the “X-Men” in 1963, which was later adapted into films and series, produced under 20th Century Fox and Marvel. It involved “X-Men” (2000), “X2: X-Men United” (2003), and “X-Men: The Last Stand”, with prequel series such as “X-Men: First Class” (2011), “X-Men” (2014) and “X-Men: Apocalypse”, released in 2016, among others.
