Mason dies in road accident after a speeding Ashok Leyland truck hits bike
The victim, G Mallikarjun, a mason, sustained serious injuries and later died after a speeding Ashok Leyland truck hit the bike
Hyderabad: A mason died in a road accident at Nagole here on Sunday.
The victim, G Mallikarjun (40), a resident of Anandnagar in Nagole, was going along with his friend Shiva Krishna on an electric bike for some work. On reaching Jaipuri Y junction, a speeding Ashok Leyland truck hit the bike, said Nagole Sub Inspector, V Ramesh.
Mallikarjun and Shiva Krishna sustained serious injuries and were shifted to the hospital, where Mallikarjun died while undergoing treatment. On a complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the truck driver. The truck was also seized and shifted to the police station.
