Sangareddy: While making elaborate arrangements for Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s public meeting scheduled on Saturday at Ambedkar stadium in Sangareddy, the officials felled a massive tree located between Sangareddy municipal office and the stadium on Friday.
The officials, who were making arrangements, widened the way to the stadium through the municipal office, to ensure the Chief Minister’s convoy enters the stadium smoothly. Since the tree was obstructing the way, they felled it. The trunk of the tree, which was dumped close to the dais, stayed as mute spectator to the recklessness of the officials. The tree appeared to be at least three decades old.
