Adilabad: National Mathematics Day was observed in virtual mode in Adilabad Degree College on Tuesday. The institution’s principal T Pratap Singh was the chief guest of the event, which was hosted by National Service Scheme Adilabad unit. Pratap said mathematics plays a vital role in shaping the future of a society. He said the birth day of mathematician Ramanujan was celebrated as National Mathematics Day. He recollected important stages of life story of Ramanujan and suggested the students to draw inspiration from him and to excel in this field.
Vice principal K Raghunath, assistant professor K Ramesh Reddy and NSS officers D Dayakar and G Chandrasekhar attended the programme.
