He told ‘Extra’: ‘I’m just so happy for him. He’s the best. He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them.”
As per ‘Daily Mail’, Ben and Matt have remained close friends after meeting in the 1980s as children in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The duo shot to stardom after screenwriting the 1997 movie, ‘Good Will Hunting’, which starred Matt as the leading character and Ben as his on-screen best friend.
On the other hand, Ben and Jen first dated 20 years ago. They were supposed to get married in 2003, but eventually called off their engagement. They rekindled their romance recently after JLo split from long-time boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.
According to sources, she is now ‘fully committed’ to Ben. “They have been meshing their lives and families and don’t feel the need to get engaged yet or even tie the knot. They have both been there and don’t feel it’s necessary. They are both very secure within their relationship and Ben worships her,” revealed the source.
