Yadadri-Bhongir: In the presence of Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao, the officials of MA&UD entered into Memorandum of Understating (MoU) with different organisations on waste management and processing.
In the presence of KT Rama Rao at a meeting held in Bhongir, Director of Municipal Administration Dr N Satyanarayana and Managing Director of Agros Ramulu signed on the MoU pertaining to organic fertilizers production using wastes collected in the towns. The organic fertilizer was christened as ‘Telangana Siri’.
MA&UD also entered into MoU with Holy Vest organisation in processing of wastages of flowers collected in the municipalities. The organisation would process it and prepare incense sticks. Rama Rao also felicitated the sanitation workers on the occasion. Earlier, he also laid the foundation stone to an integrated market and modernisation of graveyard and also inaugurated bio-mining unit at SWM resource park and Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTPs) in Bhongir municipality.
Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, MLAs Pylla Sekhar Reddy, Gongidi Sunitha, Gadadri Kishore, Chirumarthi Lingaiah and others also attended the programme.
