MCEME awards degrees to TES-44 officers at 108th convocation
Twenty officers of the Technical Entry Scheme TES-44 Course, including four from Friendly Foreign Countries, were awarded B Tech degrees at the 108th convocation of MCEME, Secunderabad, with Lt Yash Kumar named overall best student

Hyderabad: A total of 20 officers of the Technical Entry Scheme TES-44 Course, including four officers from Friendly Foreign Countries, were awarded B Tech degrees during the 108th Convocation Ceremony conducted at the Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, on Monday.
The degrees were conferred by Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee. The GOC-in-C ARTRAC Trophy, Best Student Book Prize and DGEME Gold Medal were awarded to Lt Yash Kumar for securing the distinction of overall best student of the course.
Lt Kuenga Tandin of the Bhutan Army and Lt Shivraj Pradip More were awarded the Commandant’s Silver Medal for topping the Mechanical and Electronics streams respectively.
In an exhibition of innovative projects developed by the graduating officers, ‘Automation Software with the help of AI for streamlining the results and gradings of the degree course over eight semesters’, developed by Lt Gopal Singh, Lt Irwindeep Multani, Lt Shivraj More and Lt Tandin Wangchuk, was adjudged the best.
