MCEME honours TES-47 cadets at award ceremony in Secunderabad
The Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering in Secunderabad conducted the award distribution ceremony for TES-47 officer cadets. Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney honoured cadets for excellence in academics, training and sports, while urging them to prepare for technology-driven warfare challenges.

Hyderabad: The award distribution ceremony for 22 Officer Cadets of Technical Entry Scheme TES-47 Course undergoing training at Cadets Training Wing (CTW) was conducted at the Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad.
Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney, Commandant, MCEME & Colonel Commandant, Corps of EME, awarded medals and distinctions to meritorious cadets for excellence in academics, sports, physical training, outdoor training, weapon training & drill.
Wing Cadet Captain Rahul Kumar was awarded the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Gold Medal, Wing Cadet Adjutant Ayush Singh Bisht received the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Silver Medal & Wing Cadet Quarter Master Shivam Yadav was awarded the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Bronze Medal. Arjun Platoon “The Apaches” was presented the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Banner for Spring Term 2026.
In his address, the General Officer urged the cadets to remain committed to consistent hard work, embrace delayed gratification and prepare themselves for the rapidly evolving challenges of technology driven warfare, as demonstrated during Operation Sindoor. He later visited the Arts & Photography Exhibition showcasing the creative talents of the Officer Cadets and interacted with family members of the Officer Cadets.
