Medak: BRS stages protest on Rythu Bharosa betrayal

Medak: Narsapur MLA V Sunitha Lakshma Reddy said the Congress government cheated the farmers by going back on the promises made on Rythu Bharosa.
The BRS under the leadership of MLA Sunitha Lakshma Reddy took out a protest rally in Narsapur following Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy‘s decision to restrict the Rythu Bharosa benefit to Rs 12,000 per acre against his poll promise of Rs 15,000 per acre. They buried a flexie banner, which listed out the government’s failures at Narsapur junction.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the government went back on the loan waiver and all other promises they had made during the election campaign.
The BRS also took up a similar rally in Dubbak under the leadership of MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy. The Dubbak MLA said that the Congress came to power by making false promises as a platform. He called upon the people to join hands against the Congress to expose their failures.
BRS leaders also staged protests in Nanganur, Chinnakodur, Gurralagondi and other places. The party and leaders organised similar protests across the Constituency.
