Medak: Congress workers attack BRS leader in Tekmal
This was the second such incident reported in Andole constituency in the last two days after Congress leaders attacked BRS leader Ravindar Reddy in Reddypally
Medak: Lawlessness came to the fore once again in Medak district as Congress workers attacked primary agriculture cooperative society (PACS) chairman and BRS leader Yaswanth Reddy while he was chairing a PACS meeting at Tekmal on Thursday.
This was the second such incident reported in Andole constituency in the last two days after Congress leaders attacked BRS leader Ravindar Reddy in Reddypally of Alladurg mandal on Wednesday. Though Ravindar Reddy filed a complaint at Alladurg police station, the police have not registered an FIR so far. Condemning the attack on BRS leaders, former MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran said Congress leaders in Tekmal had moved a no-confidence motion against Yaswanth Reddy. When they failed to dethrone him, they were trying to terrify BRS leaders with such attacks. He demanded that the police file a murder attempt case against Congress leaders Puli Sathyam and Bhumaiah.
